- Same-Sex Attraction and Catholic Faith: Living a Life of Happiness and Holiness by Fr. Kevin C. Louis, STL
God calls each and every one of us to share in His very own life. This is our common vocation, our ultimate end, wherein we find true happiness. For the Christian, Jesus Christ through His Spirit offers us the light and strength in order that we can respond to this highest calling. Facing those who experience same-sex attractions (homosexuality) are special challenges on this path to happiness and holiness. What are some of these challenges? In such circumstances how can one live fully the Catholic faith? Is there even any hope of being able to do so? How can others be a source of encouragement and assistance to those walking this path of truth and life?
About Fr. Kevin C. Louis, STL: Father Kevin, originally from the Diocese of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, is currently the Dean of Men and Director of Formation at the Pontifical College Josephinum.
